Musée Eugène Burnand

The “ancienne maison de Denezy” (old house of Denezy) is proud to be the only museum in the French speaking part of Switzerland to house the works of one sole artist.
Built in 1649 on a site of divers medieval origins, this magnificent residence underwent important transformations in about 1730 and in 1851 the wooden roof framework was replaced after fire damage.
For nearly half a century now this former manor house has been the home of the remarkable works of the famous Moudon artist Eugène Burnand.
